I have been involved in photography since 1994 . I found the art of photography very interesting and started taking
photographs as a hobby.
Working with photography has been my interest for many years.
In my spare time from the Bellevue Police Department I apprenticed at a photo studio in Omaha Nebraska for a few years,
working weddings, senior and family portraiture, with fine art photographs being my favorite.
Since then my photography skills have been used in many areas, even to include crime scene investigation.
I was hurt on the job in 2001, and for health reasons because of the injury I had to leave police work at the end of 2005 after
13 1/2 years on the Bellevue Police Dept.
I served in the military for 11 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force and traveled around the world in my course of duty, and attained
Technical Sergeant. Part of my duty included the SAC Elite Guard at Offutt Air Force Base. I consider it both an honor and
privilege to have served my country in times of peace and conflict.
I moved home and started Captured Memories Photography in December of 2005.

I would like to ask everyone to please take a moment to remember those who have, and those who are currently serving in harms way for our country and our communities. The military, police and fire departments all deserve our thanks and gratitude. It is hard to put into words the thanks that they deserve, especially when they have chosen to put their lives on the line for others.
